Winter Boat Storage & Lift Out | Winter Lay Up Application
With spaces limited, we recommend submitting your application as early as possible.
Winter lift out begins in October, with sailing yachts stored on the quay and motor boats stored in the car park. With limited hard standing available, early applications are recommended. Boats stored on the quay will be relaunched from 22 February, while boats stored in the car park will be relaunched from 1 March.
Sailing yachts lifted onto the quay must have all sails removed before lift out, and fin keel yachts may incur a monthly cradle hire charge where required. Motor boats cannot be moved onto the quay, as this area remains full throughout the spring season.
Because hard standing space is very limited, launch dates are fixed and cannot be negotiated. Any vessel owner who does not comply with the allocated launch date may not be offered lift out the following year, and any additional movements once ashore may incur a charge.
If you would like a shorter period ashore, please make this clear on your application and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred dates. Completed applications should be returned by 7 September, and early booking is strongly advised as availability cannot be guaranteed.

All boats using shore power must be registered on Berth Master and will be charged according to usage. Any winter cover must be custom made, properly maintained, and securely fitted to the vessel.
